The basic mission of PAL is to enhance the relationship between CSPD and our community through athletics and mentoring.

To create a safe environment for local youth with a focus on building leadership traits, a strong work ethic, and resilient members of our community.

To allow for productive, non-enforcement-related interactions between police and community members.

To promote a value system in our youth that recognizes the need to respect the rights of others, and to uphold the laws of Colorado Springs and the State of Colorado.

In addition to athletics, an ongoing focus of PAL will be to facilitate open and honest communication between PAL kids/families and our local law enforcement.

CSPD PAL Officers volunteer their time, off duty, to coach/mentor kids and in a location where our community feels comfortable.
